We are seeking an experienced Senior Technology Project Manager with strong private wealth management and/or asset management experience to support Neuberger’s multi-year programs focused on strategic software platform implementation, process re-engineering and vendor application integrations. You will be responsible for managing complex, cross-functional workstreams involving front-to-back operating model redesign, system migrations, and data architecture upgrades. The ideal candidate brings deep familiarity with private wealth, with hands-on experience delivering large-scale software implementations, vendor integrations, and operating model transformations.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with business and technology stakeholders to understand business challenges, define requirements, and translate them into actionable project plans
Lead end-to-end project delivery, including scope definition, execution, and implementation.
Act as a primary liaison between NB and external vendors, overseeing deliverables, data integrations, and overall coordination.
Drive front-to-back operating model transformation, including process redesign and implementation.
Perform data analysis and support data conversion strategy, including identifying gaps, discrepancies, and remediation approaches.
Map current-state processes and systems to future-state solutions and target architecture.
Manage project planning, milestones, risks, issues, and dependencies across multiple workstreams.
Lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to defined quality standards.
Provide regular, concise status reporting to stakeholders, including progress, risks, and key decisions required.
Oversee testing strategy and execution, including UAT coordination and validation of business outcomes.
Required Qualifications
10+ years of project/program management experience, with at least 4 years focused on financial services transformation initiatives with direct experience in software or vendor implementation projects.
Demonstrated experience delivering technology and operations change within Private Wealth or asset management environments.
Proven track record of managing full lifecycle software or vendor platform implementations.
Strong knowledge of project delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid) with the ability to tailor approaches to program needs.
Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging senior leadership, investment professionals, operations, and technology teams.
Strong commercial acumen, including experience managing budgets, vendor contracts, and third-party delivery teams.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Visio, MS Project and PowerPoint; strong command of project and process documentation standards
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Technology, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
PMP or Agile (SAFe, Scrum Master) certification.
Proficiency in SQL, experience with Snowflake, Visual Studio, Claude CoPilot, and Python, business workflow tools, and VibeCoding is preferred
Experience leading initiatives with a focus on data management.
Familiarity with emerging trends in Private Wealth, including AI-driven analytics, workflow automation and digital capabilities.
Location: New York City; hybrid with a minimum of two days per week in office subject to change at the discretion of the firm.

The salary range for this role is $160,000-$180,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.
