The Senior Technology Business Analyst - Revenue Management (Commercial Scope) will support the digitalization, optimization, and harmonization of commercial Revenue Management capabilities across Europe, ensuring alignment with Sandoz strategic objectives. Acting as a key liaison between Commercial, Market Access, Finance, Country Organizations, and IT teams, the role will translate complex business requirements into scalable, compliant, and integrated technology solutions that enable efficient revenue management processes across the European generics and biosimilars landscape.
Sandoz operates in a complex European market environment where revenue is influenced by tender-based pricing, country-specific reimbursement systems, reference pricing models, and contractual agreements with distributors, pharmacies, hospitals, and public payers. This role requires strong expertise in commercial revenue management processes and the ability to understand end-to-end business impacts across upstream and downstream applications and integrations.

Job Description

Your Key Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Analyze and support Revenue Management processes including pricing, contract management, tender execution, discounts, rebates, accruals, chargebacks, and post-invoice commercial flows.

  • Capture, structure, and document business requirements, user stories, functional specifications, reporting needs, and data requirements.

  • Assess current business processes, identify gaps, and drive the transition from As-Is to To-Be process models aligned with business objectives.

  • Support harmonization of Revenue Management processes across European markets while balancing local country requirements and global standards.

  • Collaborate with Commercial, Finance, Market Access, Country Organizations, SAP, CRM, Data, and Integration teams to deliver effective business solutions.

  • Act as the key interface between business stakeholders and IT delivery teams, ensuring requirements are prioritized, designed, tested, and implemented successfully.

  • Support the design and validation of integrations, pricing logic, reporting outputs, and data flows across SAP ECC/SAP S/4HANA, CRM systems, pricing platforms, and analytics solutions.

  • Prepare and maintain audit-ready documentation including BRDs, FRDs, traceability matrices, data specifications, integration specifications, and process documentation.

  • KPI: Successful delivery of Revenue Management solutions that improve process standardization, compliance, and business adoption across European markets.

What you’ll bring to the role:

Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 10–12 years of functional IT experience, preferably within life sciences, pharmaceuticals, generics, biosimilars, or other highly regulated industries.

  • Strong understanding of European Revenue Management processes including pricing, tender management, contract management, discounts, rebates, accruals, chargebacks, and commercial reporting.

  • Deep knowledge of European market dynamics including reimbursement systems, tender-based pricing, public payer models, wholesalers, hospitals, pharmacies, and distributor agreements.

  • Proven experience with Revenue Management, pricing, contract, or commercial solutions such as Model N, Eversana, Conga CPQ, Salesforce Revenue Management, or equivalent platforms.

  • Experience working with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA, including pricing, billing, contract management, and CRM integrations.

  • Hands-on knowledge of data modelling, interfaces, system integrations, reporting solutions, and data exchange processes.

  • Experience supporting testing activities including System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

  • Strong capability in business process analysis, process modelling, requirements management, and process optimization.

  • Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, solution designs, test scenarios, and acceptance criteria.

  • Experience preparing structured, audit-compliant documentation and maintaining traceability standards within regulated environments.

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills across business and IT organizations in a global environment.

  • Fluent English, both written and spoken.

  • Experience supporting global transformation programs, ERP implementations, or large-scale commercial systems deployments.

  • Knowledge of European pharmaceutical market access processes, commercial analytics, and advanced Revenue Management reporting capabilities.
