Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc, a world-class manufacturer of industrial lift trucks, has an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional and talented DevOps Engineer based at our Portland, OR location. 

What you will do: 

• Design, implement, and oversee robust CI/CD pipelines within Azure DevOps, ensuring seamless integration and delivery across build servers and related production infrastructure. 
• Provide technical expertise and counsel to ensure architectural fit, global consistency, and continuous improvement of IT systems. 
• Collaborate with business teams and IT Analysts to translate business requirements into technical solutions. 
• Implement strategic system initiatives and maintain/enhance existing systems. 
• Work with technical resources, vendors, and projects, adhering to project management best practices.

• DevOps Engineer skilled in working with several teams, projects, and deployments. 
• A proactive problem-solver with a focus on continuous improvement and issue prevention. 
• A clear communicator able to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Tech-savvy and adaptable, with the ability to stay updated on evolving technologies and best practices. 

What you will need: 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / related field or 5+ years of relevant technical experience. 
• Proven systems management experience. 

Skills, Experience & Abilities       

• Required
  • Proficiency in Azure DevOps CI/CD pipeline creation.
  • Service-oriented and results-driven, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
  • Strong business acumen with analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven expertise in technical areas, including systems management, implementation, and process improvement. 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Proficiency with some basic scripting such as PowerShell or similar

• Preferred
  • Experience dealing with projects managers and vendors, and IT
  • Familiarity with work/incident management processes 
  • Programming skills in .Net (C#) (5-10+ years) and SQL (5+ years). 
  • Basic experience with Java and Visual Basic.
