Microsoft AI is hiring a Senior Technical Recruiter to help build the teams developing the next generation of AI systems, infrastructure, and products.

As a Technical Recruiter, you'll operate at the center of that effort. You'll partner directly with engineering leaders, researchers, and executives to identify, attract, and close extraordinary technical talent across AI research, infrastructure, systems, security, and product engineering.

Responsibilities
Partner directly with leaders, researchers, and executives to drive hiring across MAI.
Develop and execute creative sourcing and recruiting strategies for highly competitive technical talent markets.
Build deep understanding of AI, machine learning, infrastructure, security, and software engineering talent ecosystems.
Identify, engage, and close exceptional candidates from industry, startups, academia, and open-source communities.
Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers throughout the hiring process, from search design through offer negotiation.
Use market insights, talent mapping, and competitive intelligence to influence hiring decisions and workforce planning.
Find a path forward through ambiguity and roadblocks to deliver results quickly and efficiently.
Deliver outstanding candidate experiences while maintaining an exceptionally high talent bar.
Enjoy working in a fast-paced, design-driven environment where priorities evolve quickly.

Qualifications
Required/minimum qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree AND 6+ years talent acquisition experience (e.g., recruiting, sourcing), HR experience, or industry experience related to role
- OR equivalent experience.
- Bachelor's Degree AND 12+ years talent acquisition experience (e.g., recruiting, sourcing), HR experience, or industry experience related to role
- OR Master's Degree AND 8+ years talent acquisition experience (e.g., recruiting, sourcing), HR experience, or industry experience related to role
- OR equivalent experience.
- 5+ years' experience recruiting software engineers, infrastructure engineers, machine learning engineers, researchers, or other highly technical talent.
Experience recruiting for world class AI organizations.
Experience working in high-growth or startup environments.
Demonstrated ability to drive complex searches from strategy through close.
Advanced executive presence and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
Passion for technology, AI, and building great teams.
Talent Acquisition IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.
