We’re looking for an Operations Supervisor for our Beckett team to launch a new card grading operation in Tigard, Oregon. The role oversees the end-to-end card grading process: receiving, research & ID, encapsulation, quality control, imaging, invoicing, and shipping responsibilities across the operation. This is an exciting opportunity to be one of our first employees in a brand new office space and join a team that is growing quickly. You’ll report to the Operations Supervisor and work from the Tigard, Oregon office Monday through Friday for a shift from between the hours between (6:30 am - 5:00 pm). Initial training will take place at Beckett’s Plano, Texas headquarters.
In addition to managing the on-site operations, this Supervisor and the operations team may occasionally be asked to travel to card shows over the weekend on the West coast to support on-site grading operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure that the department meets the projected quarterly revenue and profit goals through motivating, coaching, and training employees
Implement and enforce policies and procedures to be followed in order to optimize maximum productivity
Organize the workflow and ensure that employees understand their duties and delegated tasks; establish daily objectives and weekly schedules
Monitor employee productivity
Coach, counsel, and discipline employees providing constant feedback and evaluation. Make recommendations for promotions to Operations Manager
Resolve discrepancies with submissions by using standard operating procedures including calling or emailing customers
Track and create KPIs and Metrics monthly to be submitted to management; working cross-functionally with other departments
Occasional travel to trade shows and events
Competencies and Key Skills
Proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Office 365)
Must be able to multi-task and manage time efficiently, prioritizing what work needs to be done first
Strong organizational skills to achieve production goals and maximize productivity
Balance team and individual responsibilities, ability to work in a positive team environment
Works well under pressure
Quickly and accurately identify and resolve problems with limited supervision
Proven experience as supervisor or relevant role, Bachelor’s Required
Salary Range: The salary range for this position is $62,000.00 - 72,000.00. Actual compensation on this range varies based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including location, job level, prior experience, and skill set.
