About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Program Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the successful delivery of complex technical projects within the fintech domain. As a Technical Program Manager, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, designers, and stakeholders, to ensure programs are executed effectively and meet business objectives. Your expertise in program management, technical acumen, and understanding of the fintech landscape will be instrumental in driving successful outcomes.

What You will do
  • Lead the end-to-end process, from project initiation to delivery, ensuring adherence to scope, timelines, and budget constraints.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define objectives, requirements, and success criteria, ensuring alignment with business goals.

  • Develop comprehensive plans, including resource allocation, task breakdowns, and risk management strategies.

  • Effectively communicate progress, risks, and issues to key stakeholders, providing timely updates and managing expectations.

  • Foster collaboration and coordination among cross-functional teams, ensuring effective communication and resource allocation.

  • Identify and mitigate risks, proactively resolving issues to minimize potential impacts on timelines and deliverables.

  • Manage budgets, track expenses, and monitor financial performance against objectives.

  • Implement best practices, methodologies, and tools to optimize processes and enhance team productivity.

  • Stay up to date of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes within the fintech domain, providing insights and recommendations to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

  • Mentor and coach team members, promoting their professional growth and development.

What You will need
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.

  • 9+ years of experience as a Technical Program/Project Manager with a strong track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

  • Solid understanding of fintech technologies, including but not limited to payment systems, blockchain, data analytics, and cybersecurity.

  • Proficient in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) and tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Notions etc.).

  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, foster collaboration, and manage stakeholder expectations.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.

  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Experience in financial regulatory compliance is a plus.

  • Prior coding experience with at least one programming language is preferred.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Advanced degree
  • 9+ years of experience as a Technical Program/Project Manager delivering complex projects
