Senior Technical Leader Driving Design Excellence

Role Summary 
We are seeking Principal Engineer to serve as a global technical authority who drives design excellence, technical execution, and engineering capability across complex integrated circuit development.
This role spans the full lifecycle from specification and customer engagement through design, verification, silicon validation, and production readiness.
The candidate combines deep technical expertise with the ability to challenge the status quo, drive execution improvements, and elevate organizational performance through strong collaboration across development teams. 

Key Responsibilities 

Technical Leadership 

• Serve as a global technical authority providing sound technical direction across multiple programs. 
• Lead or significantly contribute to the development of complex systems and designs. 
• Interpret requirements and define strategies balancing performance, power, area, reliability, and manufacturability. 
• Drive feasibility analysis and align design with intent with implementation. 

Design Execution 

• Own critical design blocks from specification through silicon validation. 
• Provide technical oversight across design, simulation, integration, and debug activities. 
• Review and guide engineering work to ensure best practices, quality standards, and robust execution. 
• Ensure design blocks include clear documentation supporting verification, test, validation, quality, and downstream execution. 
• Ensure designs are production-ready and aligned with program timelines. 

Verification, Test & Product Readiness 

• Guide high-level verification planning and ensure alignment with system requirements. 
• Support definition of DFT and test strategies to ensure observability and debuggability. 
• Ensure correlation between simulation, silicon behavior, and system-level performance.

Cross-Functional Leadership & Collaboration 

• Act as a central technical leader across design, verification, test, validation, applications, quality, and reliability. 
• Drive alignment of assumptions, methodologies, and execution strategies across teams. 
• Enable global multi-site collaboration and represent engineering in customer-facing discussions as required. 

Methodology, Automation & AI 

• Identify workflow gaps and opportunities to streamline manual processes, fragmented documentation, and development handoffs. 
• Apply practical automation and AI-assisted solutions where appropriate to improve traceability, documentation, planning, and productivity. 

Organizational Impact & Mentorship 

• Mentor engineers and technical leaders, strengthening system-level thinking and technical depth. 
• Drive organization-wide improvements in engineering methodologies and execution practices. 
• Contribute to strategic direction, roadmap alignment, and adoption of industry best practices. 

• Typically 8–10+ years of relevant analog and/or mixed-signal design experience with technical leadership on complex IC or system developments. 
• Degree-level qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related discipline; advanced degree preferred. 
• Deep knowledge of product lifecycle, system-level design, verification, validation, DFT, test, and production readiness. 
• Demonstrated ability to influence across teams, communicate effectively in multicultural environments, and deliver quality under schedule pressure.
