About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Senior Technical Consultant. In this role, you will act as a subject matter expert in digital identity, device intelligence, behavioral biometrics and fraud detection technologies, supporting clients through the full lifecycle of solution design and integration.

You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, including pre-sales, fraud strategy, product, engineering, and client stakeholders, to ensure successful onboarding and adoption of ThreatMetrix® Dynamic Decision Platform® (DDP) suite of products and capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Client Engagement & Solution Design: Act as a trusted technical advisor to clients during the onboarding and implementation of ThreatMetrix.Translate business requirements into scalable, effective fraud detection rules and integration plans.Conduct technical workshops, solution walkthroughs, and configuration sessions with clients.

  • Technical Integration & Support: Lead the implementation of DDP and supporting product SDKs, APIs, and policy configurations across web and mobile environments.Support client teams through technical troubleshooting, testing, and go-live activities.Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve complex issues or integration blockers.

  • Platform Configuration: Configure custom rules and decisioning logic in the ThreatMetrix policy engine.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with fraud strategy and risk teams to align technical configurations with risk appetite and business goals.Work alongside product and pre-sales to provide technical guidance when needed.

Requirements

Required:

  • Prior experience in software engineering or mobile application development (native or hybrid).

  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical and evaluation skills.

  • Strong consulting and client management skills, with the ability to influence decisions and navigate complex stakeholder environments.

  • Hands-on experience with one or more of REST APIs, JSON, JavaScript, and mobile SDKs (iOS/Android).

  • Knowledge in SQL, Python, or other data analytics capabilities.

  • At least 5-10+ years of experience in solution implementation for enterprise clients.

  • Willingness to learn new technologies constantly with new product acquisitions.

Good to have:

  • Strong understanding of digital identity signals, device fingerprinting, and behavioral biometrics.

  • Experience writing business rules for real-time decisioning systems.

  • Background in financial services, fintech, or e-commerce risk management will be ideal.

  • Familiarity with other fraud platforms (e.g., BioCatch, Kount, Riskified) will be valued.

  • Fluency in second language – Mandarin preferred.
