A Sr. Technical Data Conversion Consultant is a member of Workday’s Global Technical Services organization dedicated to the implementation of our cloud-based software within the Healthcare industry. We help customers make the most of the Workday platform!About the Role
We are looking for hardworking, creative consultants who are passionate about what they do! You should be proficient at explaining sophisticated concepts in simple terms, understanding customer procedures and you're an innovative self-starter who can drive ideas from concept through implementation.
The Sr. Technical Consultant works closely with the client’s project team to design, develop, and deploy a customer’s various technical requirements. These requirements include migration of data from existing customer systems to Workday.
About You
The Technical Consultant works closely with the client’s project team to design, develop, and deploy a customer’s various technical requirements. These requirements include migration of data from existing customer systems to Workday. The consultant has knowledge of core design principles, common data modeling and patterns, project implementation methodology, and a successful track record of delivering.
Basic Qualifications4+ years of experience with data migration, integration development, report building, or software development, OR
4+ years of experience with technical consulting, requirements gathering, or solution design, OR
4+ years of Human Resource, Payroll, Financials, Supply Chain, or Student domain experience
Proficient with ETL, SQL/MySQL, XML, Microsoft Excel, stored procedures or other data tooling
Experience working with customers and/or team members and leading data requirements sessions
Participation in a minimum of 1 full life cycle software implementation
Understanding of the complete software implementation lifecycle - including data requirements gathering, dataset migration, data reconciliation, and move to production
4+ years of experience coordinating and collaborating with cross organizational partners to define requirements and resolve data issues
4+ years of experience mapping, transforming, and loading data from source to target software systems.
Experience in a Data Conversion work stream on a software implementation
Preferable - Experience using GitHub
Preferable - Experience with Python and/or Ruby
Preferable - Prior experience with Workday data conversion technologies such as iLoad, EIB, Advanced Load

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things.
