Role Summary:
Responsible for end-to-end operations, monitoring, support, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Ericsson BSCS Billing & Customer Care applications, ensuring high availability, service continuity, and SLA compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide L2/L3 operational support for Ericsson BSCS platform.
Monitor BSCS application health, billing processes, interfaces, and batch jobs.
Perform incident management, troubleshooting, root cause analysis (RCA), and problem management.
Handle customer requests, service tickets, and production issues within agreed SLAs.
Support billing cycles, invoicing, account management, customer management, and rating processes.
Perform data corrections and execute SQL-based fixes as required.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams including CRM, OCS, Mediation, Provisioning, and Infrastructure teams.
Manage application deployments, patches, upgrades, and configuration changes.
Conduct system health checks, preventive maintenance, and capacity monitoring.
Prepare operational reports, service reviews, and customer governance updates.
Support High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR), and business continuity activities.
Participate in on-call support and major incident management activities.

Technical Skills:
Ericsson BSCS (Customer Care & Billing)
Strong knowledge of Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and Unix/Linux administration.
Good understanding of PL/SQL procedures, database objects, and data-fix activities
Experience with automation and scripting using Shell, Perl, Python, or similar technologies.
Billing & Invoicing Processes
Incident, Problem & Change Management
Integration knowledge with CRM, OCS, Mediation, Provisioning systems
Preferred Experience:
8-12 years of Telecom BSS experience.
Experience in telecom production operations and support within BSS environments..
Ability to understand, analyse, and troubleshoot issues across application, database, network, and host layers.
Experience in production support, customer-facing roles, and SLA-driven environments.
Familiarity with ITIL-based Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes
Exposure to HA/DR testing, application upgrades, migrations, and performance tuning.
