ADI is currently seeking a Senior Technical Accountant to play a key role in shaping the Company's technical accounting, accounting policy, and financial reporting. This is an opportunity to bring your technical accounting expertise to public company reporting requirements, accounting policies, reporting processes, and non-routine transactions. The Senior Technical Accountant will assist in ensuring the accurate application of U.S. GAAP across the ADI organization, support the preparation of the Company's consolidated financial statements and disclosures, and contribute to technical accounting activities, including stock-based compensation, leases, debt, and the evaluation of new accounting standards and non-routine transactions.

This is a highly collaborative position working closely with Corporate Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, Legal, Investor Relations and External Auditors in supporting ADI's public company reporting requirements. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to build strong cross-functional relationships, contribute to high-visibility initiatives, and communicate technical accounting matters to a variety of stakeholders.

JOB DUTIES 

  • Assist with technical accounting research to support the appropriate application of U.S. GAAP and the preparation of accounting position papers for finance and accounting management and external auditors
  • Prepare, review, and record monthly journal entries and account reconciliations across key technical accounting areas, including stock-based compensation, debt, and lease accounting, while ensuring accuracy, U.S. GAAP compliance, and strong internal control
  • Assist with the preparation, review, and tie-out of Forms 10-Q, 10-K, earnings releases, and other SEC filings, including supporting schedules and related reporting activities within Workiva
  • Support quarterly reviews and the annual audit, working directly with external auditors, coordinating requests, and helping resolve audit inquiries
  • Assist in evaluating the accounting implications of new accounting standards and support implementation, documentation, and stakeholder training
  • Support a strong internal control environment, including SOX compliance across technical accounting and financial statement disclosures

WE VALUE:

  • 3+ years of relevant experience, including public accounting (Big 4 or national firm preferred) and/or public company experience
  • CPA or active pursuit of CPA certification preferred
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge and understanding of U.S. GAAP and internal controls
  • Experience with SEC reporting guidelines and related internal controls

Skills Required
