Roles and Responsibilities
- Prepare CIT, WHT and SST filings
- Prepare STAT CIT calculation for statutory financial audit purpose.
- Prepare tax accounting relevant work including CIT/WHT/SST reconciliation, CIT return to provision etc.
- Prepare payment settlement of open tax liability if necessary (e.g., ECI, SST, CIT etc.)
- Prepare cash forecast for CIT/SST and WHT when required
- Closely monitor tax relevant ruling updates
- Liaise with local tax authority on daily tax issue
- Assist with all indirect tax operational matters
- Support Tax audit, tax project and other ad hoc as required
Required Qualifications
- bachelor’s degree or equivalent, MICPA is preferred
- More than 3 years of work experience in CIT, VAT, WHT in large multinational firms, accounting, or consulting firms.
- Written and verbal fluency in English and Malay
- Good working knowledge in a multinational environment
