The Opportunity
Join our dynamic DNS, DHCP, IPAM (DDI) Operations Team as a Systems Engineer. This role offers a unique chance to drive automation and innovation in managing critical network infrastructure. You will be at the forefront of designing and implementing secure, scalable solutions, collaborating with diverse teams to enhance our automation and productivity tools.
Responsibilities
Design and implement secure and scalable DNS, DHCP, and IPAM (DDI) solutions using Infoblox DDI.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex DDI issues.
Automate DDI workflows to improve operational efficiency.
Provide technical expertise and guidance to internal teams on all aspects of DDI, including IPv4 and IPv6.
Stay updated on the latest Infoblox DDI features and best practices.
Qualifications
Required:
Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph
Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline.
5 years of additional Systems Engineering experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
20+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope.
Demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts.
Ability to obtain DOD8570-M, IAT Level 1 certification.
Experience with DNS, DHCP, IPAM, and Load Balancing (F5/DTC).
Familiarity with outages, latency issues, and troubleshooting.
Proven experience in designing and implementing DDI solutions.
Strong understanding of networking concepts, including IPv4 and IPv6.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Experience with scripting (Perl, Python) and automation tools is a plus.
Desired:
DNS experience with a strong understanding of Infoblox maintenance.
In-depth knowledge of Infoblox DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM).
Experience applying system engineering methodologies and principles.
Familiarity with developing modern business methods and identifying best practices.
Experience executing as a key coordinator between multiple project teams.

Pay Range:
There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
