We are looking for extraordinary Software Engineers to develop and productize NVIDIA's DRIVE OS software. As a member of NVIDIA's Solution Engineering team, you will adapt DRIVE OS solutions to various car platforms equipped with different sensors. We are looking for a Senior System Software Engineer with strong experience in bootloaders, virtualization and ARM architecture.
What you’ll be doing:
Architecture and development of Bootloaders and device driver development for virtualized environment
Architecture and enhancement of Hypervisor features
Hardware configuration and performance tuning
Chip and Board bringup
Lead the architecture discussions and directly interface with customers to support DRIVE software solutions
Actively coordinate with cross-functional engineering teams to meet customer's requirements and to drive complex issues to closure
Participate in architectural explorations which include feasibility studies, safety evaluations and data analysis
What we need to see:
BS/MS EE/CS or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience on embedded systems, with focus on Bootloaders/Operating Systems and drivers
Strong C programming skills
Solid understanding of ARM processor architecture fundamentals
Strong communication and inter-personal skills
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Experience on ARMv8 based processors
Experience with bootloaders
Exposure to Hypervisor and virtualized environments
Extensive driver development experience
Prior experience in board bringup and Post-Silicon bringup
