What you'll be doing:
As a planner for substrates, you'll act as the critical link within Operations, Engineering and the Business Units for substrates and associated supply chain.
You'll own operations' supply commitments for substrates that the company will rely on to make customer and revenue commitments.
You will be responsible for placing purchase requests and closely monitoring deliveries for both new products and high volume mass production substrates.
Craft an optimized requested production schedule for multiple products and SKUs considering die availability, priorities, materials availability and constraints for NVIDIA's execution teams.
Drive and influence decisions on dependent demands of materials and capacity, in order to support the required build plan.
Often times there will be capacity, materials, and production issues that will prevent satisfying all demand. You will be planning's person in charge to determine tradeoff options and work with internal partners to craft the optimal plan.
Analyze substrates shortfalls to prepare a supply summary and forecast to management.
What we need to see:
5+ years of working experience in the semiconductor operations field - Supply Planning / Supply Chain or relevant areas.
Degree in Industrial Engineering or Business Administration or equivalent experience in semiconductor Planning.
Good communication, problem-solving, teamwork, organizational, and quantitative skills.
Proficiency in business software applications such as Microsoft Office, Excel VBA,SAP, SAP APO, Windchill, industry leading Advanced Planning software.
Language: Excellent English skills on reading, writing, speaking, and listening
Personality: highly organized, detailed orientated, a self-starter with a strong sense of ownership.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Background or experience in engineering, advanced packaging operations.
Demonstrate consistently the ability to drive solutions to real world operational problems that hinder our ability to hit the goals.
Lead internal and external team members with interpersonal skills to establish preventive action plans that can improve the overall performance of the company.
To demonstrate expert system skills in Excel Macro and VBA facilitating new process development.
Exposure to SAP IBP and / or Anaplan is preferred.

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 100,000 USD - 155,250 USD for Level 3, and 128,000 USD - 201,250 USD for Level 4.You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
