DescriptionAs a key technical leader, you'll be a trusted partner to the VP of Engineering - Consumer, driving technical vision and directly influencing how our products are delivered. This role is for a hands-on technical leader with deep expertise in mobile application development and a proven track record of scaling consumer-facing products.
This is more than a hands-on role; you'll be a multiplier. You will architect and write code, but your impact will also encompass shaping the technical direction of the organization and mentoring a large team of engineers to elevate their craft.

Lead, mentor, and grow others. Cultivate a culture of technical excellence, user delight and innovation within the team.
Work closely with technical leaders in adjacent organizations and cross-functionally with product, UX, security and others to deliver on business objectives.
Apply your experience to healthcare, bringing the promise of precision health to life through accessible and engaging product offerings.
Identify and implement capabilities and processes which enable the team to continuously improve design, implementation and rapid iteration through experimentation and user feedback.
Minimum qualifications
10+ years of relevant work experience in software development, with hands-on technical leadership in delivering scaled mobile experiences (Android or iOS).
Demonstrated mastery of a technical domain.
Experience delivering software using a general-purpose programming language (e.g., Go, Objective-C, and/or Swift).
Preferred qualifications
Deep understanding of mobile architecture, performance, experimentation, and testing best practices.
Clear written communication, especially in design and architecture documents.
Experience working directly with end customers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
Knowledge and ability to apply AI tooling to development practices.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $217,000 - $289,000 + bonus + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
