Job DescriptionWe’re looking for someone to join the Compliance Office within the Bose Legal Department. As a member of Bose’s Compliance Office, you’ll promote a culture committed to upholding the highest standards of compliance to ensure the trust and confidence of our customers, employees, and business partners. You’ll partner closely with attorneys and other compliance professionals to support all Bose business divisions in complying with applicable regulatory requirements, industry standards and best practices needed to continue maturing our global compliance program.
We are seeking a compliance professional to support day-to-day compliance operations. This role is ideal for someone who has prior experience in a corporate or professional setting and is looking to deepen their expertise in a dynamic and evolving compliance program.
What we need you to do:
- Monitor and triage messages from compliance mailboxes, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
- Manage and track data subject rights (DSR) requests in accordance with applicable privacy regulations.
- Respond to employee inquiries related to the Code of Business Ethics, conflicts of interest, and gifts & entertainment policies.
- Support oversight of digital accessibility initiatives to ensure compliance with accessibility standards.
- Follow up on compliance risk mitigation actions to ensure timely closure and documentation.
- Track all compliance training activities including employee-wide and role-based training performed by lawyers and compliance professionals.
- Monitor and track the third-party legal compliance due diligence program, ensuring required reviews are completed and documented appropriately.
- Assist with reporting, metrics, and dashboards to support compliance program transparency and effectiveness.
- Administer and maintain the Compliance Office SharePoint site and compliance tools, including OneTrust.
Who you are:
- 2+ years of professional experience in a corporate setting, ideally in a operational, administrative or support role.
- You have a collaborative mindset and willingness to learn and grow within the compliance field.
- You are process-oriented with a strong attention to detail.
- You can track tasks through to closure, ensuring follow-up and accountability.
- You have excellent communication (oral and written) skills, with the ability to clearly document and communicate compliance activities.
- You have an undergraduate degree (e.g., BA/BS).
- Familiarity in compliance or risk management is a plus, especially in operational or support roles.
