The Role:
The Sales Enablement & Recruitment Manager for Home Loans is a dynamic and multifaceted role responsible for empowering our loan officers and real estate agent partners with the tools, resources, and strategies needed to drive sales growth. This individual will be a key driver of our client-facing marketing initiatives, champion social selling best practices, optimize our web presence, represent SoFi at industry tradeshows, and actively recruit top-tier Loan Officers. The core focus of this role is sales enablement, specifically tailored for our external real estate agent network and our distributed sales force.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Client-Facing Marketing & Content Strategy (30%)
Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies and campaigns designed to attract and engage real estate agents and potential homebuyers.
Create compelling, compliant, and conversion-focused marketing collateral, including brochures, flyers, presentations, email templates, and digital assets.
Partner with Marketing on SoFi’s home loan-specific web pages and landing pages, ensuring a seamless user experience and clear call-to-actions.
Collaborate with SoFi’s marketing team to ensure brand consistency and leverage broader marketing initiatives.
Analyze marketing campaign performance and provide data-driven recommendations for optimization.
2. Social Selling & Digital Engagement (20%)
Develop and implement a robust social selling strategy for loan officers, providing training and resources on leveraging platforms like LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram for lead generation and relationship building.
Curate and distribute relevant content for loan officers to share on their social media channels.
Monitor social media trends and adapt strategies to maximize engagement and reach within the real estate and homebuyer communities.
3. Tradeshow & Event Management (25%)
Represent the bank at industry tradeshows, conferences, and local real estate events to promote our home loan products and services.
Plan and execute engaging booth experiences, including securing optimal placement, managing logistics, and developing effective promotional materials.
Network with real estate professionals, build relationships, and identify opportunities for partnerships and recruitment.
Conduct follow-up activities post-event to nurture leads and strengthen relationships.
4. Field Loan Officer Recruitment & Onboarding Support (25%)
Actively source, recruit, and attract experienced and high-performing Loan Officers to join our distributed sales force.
Develop and maintain relationships with real estate brokerages and associations to identify potential recruits.
Partner in the onboarding process for new Loan Officers with our trainers, ensuring they have access to necessary tools, training, and resources.
Collaborate with sales leadership to understand recruitment needs and develop targeted recruitment strategies.
Participate in interviews and assessments of prospective Loan Officers.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in sales enablement, marketing, or business development within the financial services or real estate industry, with a strong preference for home loan experience.
Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns, particularly in a B2B and/or distributed sales environment.
Demonstrated expertise in social selling strategies and digital marketing best practices.
Experience representing an organization at industry tradeshows and events.
Strong understanding of the mortgage industry, loan products, and the real estate agent ecosystem.
Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Highly organized with strong project management skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in CRM software, marketing automation platforms, and social media management tools.
Willingness to travel frequently for tradeshows and field recruitment activities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Active NMLS license or prior experience as a Loan Officer.
Experience with real estate agent coaching or training.
Knowledge of specific local real estate markets.
