You will need to live within commuting distance to our Portage, Michigan office and be in the office 5 days a week.
- Lead design and development of mechanical systems and subsystems
- Translate user needs into design inputs and system-level outputs
- Guide prototyping, testing, and resolution of design issues
- Mentor engineers on engineering and design control practices
- Drive innovation through technical exploration and development
- Collaborate across functions to execute development activities
- Ensure compliance with standards and documentation requirements
- Contribute to technical and product strategy
What You Will Need:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- 6+ years of relevant engineering experience
- Experience designing mechanical or electro-mechanical systems
- Proficiency in GD&T and CAE tools
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with DFM principles
- Knowledge of materials and manufacturing
- Familiarity with regulated environments
