The Role:

The T&E Spend Enablement Specialist is a key contributor to the global Procure-to-Pay (PTP) shared services team, responsible for overseeing all aspects of employee-related spend programs. This role manages all Travel and Expense processes, global corporate card programs, travel policies, and employee purchasing platforms such as Amazon Business. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance, optimization and delivery of seamless experience for employees while maintaining strong financial controls.

Essential Functions:

Global T&E Program Management

  • Own and manage global Travel & Expense (T&E) policies, processes, and systems to ensure consistency, compliance, and operational efficiency.
  • Provide day-to-day operational support for the Concur Travel & Expense platform, including troubleshooting, training, user assistance, and system maintenance. serving as the primary point of contact for all employee spend inquiries.
  • Monitor and review expense submissions for adherence to policy, escalating exceptions and driving resolution in partnership with stakeholders, including partnering with Internal Audit and Finance to maintain strong financial controls and mitigate risk.
  • Support global travel booking workflows, ensuring alignment with preferred vendor usage and corporate travel guidelines.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance traveler experience, streamline processes, and improve policy awareness across regions.
  • Analyze T&E data to identify trends, compliance risks, and opportunities to streamline and automate expense workflows, implementing best practices for cost control and spend visibility.

Global Corporate Credit Card Program Management

  • Own and manage corporate credit card programs across the Americas, Europe, and Asia, ensuring consistent global administration and compliance.
  • Oversee card issuance, user onboarding, account maintenance, and lifecycle management for all corporate cardholders.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for cardholders, providing guidance on usage policies, resolving transaction disputes, and supporting reconciliation.
  • Collaborate with Finance teams to ensure timely and accurate reconciliation, reporting, and auditing of card transactions.
  • Monitor card usage and transaction patterns to identify potential risks, policy violations, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Partner with global stakeholders to enhance program efficiency, drive adoption, and support financial controls and transparency.

Amazon Business Program Management

  • Lead governance and oversight of the Amazon Business Program to ensure alignment with procurement policies and operational standards.
  • Develop and maintain approved catalogs and purchasing controls to streamline compliant buying and reduce maverick spend.
  • Enable user adoption and training, providing guidance and support to employees on Amazon Business purchasing workflows and best practices.
  • Monitor and analyze purchasing activity, generating insights to identify cost-saving opportunities, usage trends, and compliance gaps.
  • Integrate Amazon Business data with financial and procurement systems to support accurate reporting, reconciliation, and spend visibility.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Procurement, Finance, and IT to optimize program performance and drive continuous improvement.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Track KPIs related to employee enablement, catalog usage, expense compliance, and card program performance.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve spend visibility and operational efficiency.
  • Prepare regular reports on T&E and employee spend trends.
  • Analyze data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve compliance.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Experience with global T&E programs and multi-currency environments.
  • Familiarity with corporate card programs is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with Amazon Business and other employee purchasing platforms.
  • Project management experience for process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in T&E expense management, corporate card programs, or related areas.
  • Strong knowledge of expense management systems (e.g., Concur, SAP)
  • Strong communication, analytical, organizational and stakeholder engagement skills.
