Role, Function & Organization  

This role is responsible for delivering quality control services to ensure high standards are maintained across all job sites. This involves implementing and coordinating the Quality Control Plan, conducting thorough job site inspections, and resolving quality issues through document reviews and on-site evaluations. The position provides training, coaching, and real-time feedback to field teams, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and company values while supporting efficient and effective project execution.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Quality Control & Commissioning:

  • Conduct quality inspections
  • Identify potential quality issues from review of construction documents
  • Analyze startup/commissioning schedule
  • Analyze upcoming tasks and anticipate equipment installation standards, checklist procedures, and training
  • Provide valid statistical information and applicable analyses regarding job site quality, commissioning, and startup procedures
  • Participates in various cross-functional teams to continually develop and refine organizational processes related to job site quality and commissioning
  • Perform safety checks on job sites and maintain compliance with safety policies

Field Support:

  • Opportunity to help direct the work of small crews
  • Help provide guidance to field employees, project supervisors, and management on matters concerning job sit quality and commissioning
  • Perform Project Expectations Review with project leadership

Communication & Collaboration:

  • Demonstrate excellent customer relations
  • Develop relationships with project leadership and personnel that facilitate open dialogue and trust

Safety/Hazard Recognition & Elimination:

  • Pre-plan and identify the methods to eliminate hazards daily by work task. 
  • Execute skill in observing habits and hazards of others and bringing it to their attention. 
  • Uphold safety as the most important goal of our company.  Support goal of achieving zero accidents. 
  • Promote and encourage open communication between field and office regarding all safety concerns, suggestions, improvements, and PPE needed. 
  • Obtain safety training as expected by all company personnel. 

 

Qualifications and Requirements 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Management OR Journeyman License
  • Industry knowledge

Experience, Skill and Abilities

  • Positive safety attitude and personal integrity -- both are non-negotiable
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Decisive and solutions-oriented

Physical Requirements

Office and field environment requiring sitting and standing. Travel to various work sites is essential, exposing employee to outdoor elements, noise and the need to stand and walk.

Skills Required
