This exciting opportunity is with Mastercard LAC Digital Products to work across different markets and focus on making Mastercard the best way to pay, by raising the bar of consumer experience at the checkout.
This critical role sits at an intersection of customer, product, and engineering, and provides extraordinary opportunity for learning, organization visibility and career growth.
Every day, you will be solving real world challenges and utilizing your product and engineering skills to design the best-in-class checkout experiences with and for our customers (PSPs, Gateways, Acquirers, ISV, Merchants and Issuers).
This role is responsible for leading the design of the User Experience and the Technical Integration for some of the key Mastercard global partners.
The Product Development position will work with the global product, regional sales and delivery teams to ensure the organization successfully executes on the plan.
Role and Responsibilities:
The Specialist Product Manager for Click to Pay is responsible for supporting regional execution and product adoption through the following activities:
- Create customer driven Solution Proposals and Solution Designs for Mastercard partners: Payment Services Provider (PSP), Independent Software Vendor (ISV) and Merchants to implement and scale Click to Pay across different regions
- Lead the co-design of the checkout experience with the Mastercard Product Designers and the customers
- Lead the technical solution discovery and workshops with the customers to design best in class consumer experiences
- Be the voice of the customer to incorporate customer-feedback in the global product roadmap
- Provide expert level product/technical support to customers implementing the solutions
- Liaise with the support organization to ensure key customer operational and support issues are managed effectively and the sales teams are adequately briefed on any issues
- Become a subject matter expert in Mastercard Acceptance products
All About You
- Bachelor's degree required: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT or similar B.S. degree
- Experience supporting teams integrating APIs/SDKs or similar web-based technologies into existing systems
- Experience working collaboratively with product, engineering and UX designers
- Experience working in a B2B customer facing role
- Availability to be in the office 3 times per week
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- High attention to details, adaptable, executes with a sense of urgency and excellent problem solving and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and able to complete tasks with limited direction
- Ready to work in a hands-on, multifaceted role, in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience at product in a bank, processor, technology vendor, or card network, with understanding of the electronic payment's ecosystem is highly desirable
- Ability to travel
