We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solutions Architect with a strong focus on AI/ML technologies to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data science, coupled with a strong background in Pre-Sales Solution Architecture. You will be responsible for educating clients on AI/ML, articulating how our AI/ML experts can help them build custom solutions/software, and overseeing AI/ML project plans and contracts that drive business value for our clients. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills.
As a Senior AI/ML Solutions Architect you will:

  • Represent the technical expertise of RapidScale and act to position RapidScale as a trusted AI/ML advisor to customers in the sales process
  • Conduct full technical discovery and assessment workshops to identify pain points and gather business and technical requirements from prospective customers who are interested in building custom AI/ML applications and solutions on AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
  • Conduct workshops for GenAI and conversational AI use case development, data strategy, and machine learning model development & operations
  • Consult with prospects and architect solutions on public cloud platforms, leveraging your deep experience with public cloud compute, database, and network solutions, especially as they relate to AI/ML managed services (i.e. Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, Azure OpenAI, etc.)
  • Produce cost and labor estimates and SOWs for potential AI/ML projects
  • Collaborate and participate in the creation of technical collateral, documentation, pitch and presentation materials (e.g. SOWs, HLDs, Decks, Reference Architectures)
  • Provide technical training sessions and workshops for Sales and Go to Market staff
  • Clearly document and communicate proposed architectures to implementation teams during and after the pre-sales cycle to validate and verify project success
  • Interface with the Product team and provide feedback for improving product quality and capabilities by leveraging information gathered in field engagements
  • Provide thought leadership by speaking at industry events such as trade shows, panels or marketing events as well as publishing blog posts, white papers and participating in case studies


Qualifications:
Minimum:

  • A BA/BS Degree with 6+ years of experience, or a MS Degree with 4+ years of experience, or a Ph.D with one year of experience, or 10 years of overall experience without a degree
  • Must have Professional or Expert-Level certification on one or multiple major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
  • Understanding of ML data preparation, model development, model deployments
  • Expertise in software development and/or software engineering experience (primarily Python)
  • Understanding of AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Machine Learning Services
  • Understanding of GenAI, LLMs, RAG, vector databases and conversational bots
  • Understanding of machine learning frameworks (e.g. TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.)
  • Understanding of one or more public cloud IaaS services with hands-on experience with cloud migrations, deployments, etc
  • Understanding of containerization & virtualization technologies; e.g Kubernetes, Docker, EKS, ECS, etc.
  • Understanding IaC tools; e.g. Puppet, Ansible, CloudFormation, Terraform
  • Expertise in networking, compute, storage and OS fundamentals


Preferred:

  • AI or ML specialty certification (cloud agnostic)
  • Proficiency and/or willingness to pursue expertise across multiple clouds (AWS, Azure, Google)
  • Deep understanding of data storage paradigms (e.g. databases, data warehouses, data lakes, etc.)


USD 123,800.00 - 185,600.00 per year
Compensation:
Compensation includes a base salary of $123,800.00 - $185,600.00. The salary rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's experience. In addition to the salary range identified herein, this role is also eligible for an annual incentive/commission target of $52,800.00.
