About this opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to join our Core Networks Team, responsible for designing, configuring, deploying and Testing our Packet Core Controller, Packet Core Gateway, and Cloud Core Policy Controller Solutions. You will be instrumental in implementing complex 5G Core packet core network architectures and policy management frameworks that drive enterprise telecommunications infrastructure. This role bridges network design and operational deployment, requiring technical depth and strategic problem-solving capabilities.
What you will do:
Design and architect, 5G packet Core and Policy Functions
Develop comprehensive design documentation on network topology, policy frameworks, and integration strategies
Configure policy rules, charging mechanisms, and gating functions across network elements
Deploy policy solutions in production environments, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure
Troubleshoot policy conflicts and optimize network performance
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on implementation timelines and technical specifications
Conduct testing and validation of 5G Packet Core and Policy Functions
Upgrade 5G Packet Core and Policy Functions
Document procedures and maintain technical design documentation
The skills you bring:
11+ yrs of Strong expertise in PCC/PCG and Policy functions
Proficiency in Packet Core Network Design and Deployment
Experience with policy management systems and network function integration
Knowledge of telecom protocols and charging/gating mechanisms
Technical writing & documentation skills, Strong Troubleshooting Skills
Problem-solving abilities in complex network environments
Project coordination and stakeholder communication
Relevant certifications or hands-on experience with major telecom vendors (Ericsson, Nokia, Cisco, Huawei etc.)
Customer Handling Skills
Good to have
Exposure to any or more of the following Cloud Core applications/environment is desired
OpenStack (CEE)/Kubernetes (CCD)
IP Switching and Routing
Should have worked in a similar role earlier
Past experience with Ericsson will be preferred
Good knowledge of 3GPP in 5G Packet Core & Policy
