What you'll bring
You have strong experience independently engaging customers throughout the sales cycle, with specialist depth in S/4HANA Procurement. You assess what customers need, position SAP competitively, and bring credibility across the full stakeholder spectrum — from procurement directors to C-suite executives. You build trust through clear communication, bring emotional intelligence to every interaction, and solve complex problems with a customer-focused mindset.
- You conduct thorough client needs assessments, uncovering the business drivers behind each procurement transformation and shaping your advisory approach accordingly.
- You deliver compelling S/4HANA Procurement demonstrations, translating solution capabilities into differentiated business outcomes that guide customers through their technology adoption journey.
- You combine storytelling and competitive positioning to articulate SAP's value clearly — adapting your message for audiences ranging from finance leaders to IT decision-makers.
- You map customers' AI journeys, aligning intelligent procurement features to their readiness and helping them realise value from automation, spend analytics, and AI-powered sourcing.
- A practical approach to AI — you use automation and AI tools in daily workflows, design effective prompts, prototype solutions, and take responsibility for the quality and accuracy of AI-generated outputs.
- A degree in business, technology, supply chain, or a related field, or equivalent experience. A master’s degree is an advantage.
What you'll build
You'll independently lead advisory engagements at critical points in the sales cycle — from initial discovery through to decision and adoption — across strategic procurement accounts in Emerging Africa.
- Engage enterprise customers at key sales cycle stages, owning the advisory narrative from first conversation through to solution commitment.
- Develop and deliver compelling demonstrations and business stories that illustrate differentiated outcomes, from spend visibility and process automation to supplier collaboration and procurement compliance.
- Collaborate with customers and partners to co-create an agreed-upon SAP vision, translating solution capabilities into a shared procurement transformation roadmap.
- Communicate the ongoing value of SAP Procurement solutions to build adoption, drive consumption, and expand revenue within each account.
- Partner with account executives and regional teams to develop winning competitive strategies across the Emerging Africa customer portfolio.
Where you belong
You'll join SAP's Solution Advisory community in East Africa, embedded in a regional team driving cloud ERP and intelligent spend management adoption across Emerging Africa. Based in Nairobi, you'll support enterprise customers across the region — from initial procurement transformation conversations through to live solution adoption. Demand for RISE with SAP and S/4HANA Cloud is accelerating across the continent, and you'll be a key part of the team making that happen. You'll work closely with account executives, value advisors, and partners to shape how SAP's procurement portfolio lands in new and growing markets. This role involves regional travel across Emerging Africa to support key customer engagements and sales cycles.
