NVIDIA is looking for a highly motivated Architect to join the NVIDIA DSX AIR team to help build our next-generation AI platforms. In this role, you will leverage your extensive expertise in Kubernetes internals, deep networking, and distributed systems to design and scale advanced infrastructure.

What you'll be doing:

  • The responsibility specifically is for Architecture, infrastructure requirements, and designing highly scalable distributed microservices systems.
  • Working closely with System Architects, Development and DevOps engineers to conduct comprehensive design reviews, ensuring all technical implementations strictly adhere to the general product architecture.
  • Maintaining hands-on capabilities to rapidly build, execute, and demonstrate Proof of Concepts (POCs) for new architectural patterns and technologies.
  • Championing the adoption of additional AI-driven tools and processes to aggressively automate system operations and repetitive workflows wherever possible.
  • Architecting and developing large-scale systems over k8s, utilizing a deep understanding of its structure to fine-tune performance and stability.
  • Designing and optimizing deep networking solutions for container/k8s environments
  • Continuous evaluation of existing system and driving improvements across our platform and AI integration layers.

What we need to see:

  • 8+ years of experience and deep understanding of the latest distributed microservices based architectures, specifically utilizing event-driven and reactive models.
  • Deeply familiar with the latest AI trends, alongside a strong foundational understanding of modern platforms and AI architectures.
  • Deep understanding and hands-on experience with Kubernetes (k8s) internals, specifically its control plane infrastructure and core services.
  • Proven experience developing, maintaining, and deploying k8s ecosystem components such as operators and CRDs and/or customizing internal k8s control plane services.
  • Demonstrated capability in developing large-scale systems over k8s, with the ability to understand its deep structure and fine-tune it for massive workloads.
  • Deep understanding of advanced networking solutions and container/k8s networking
  • Having good programing background in one high level language (such as Go or Python) to facilitate deep system development and execute hands-on POCs.
  • Bachelors degree
