Working closely with our Tech Lead and development team, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute across the full software development lifecycle—from writing and testing code through to debugging, deployment and continuous improvement. This is a great opportunity for someone who has a solid foundation in C# and .NET and wants to develop their technical skills in a supportive environment.

- Develop, maintain and enhance .NET applications
- Write, test and debug clean, reliable code
- Investigate and resolve bugs and application issues
- Write basic unit tests and contribute to software quality
- Participate in code reviews and learn from experienced developers
- Work closely with developers, testers and business analysts
- Gain hands-on exposure to modern development practices and tools
What you’ll bring
You don’t need to know everything—we’re looking for someone with a strong technical foundation, curiosity and a willingness to learn.
To be considered for this role you will have:
- .NET and/or .NET Core
- ASP.NET MVC
- Azure Components (Function Apps, Service Bus, APIM, etc)
- REST APIs
- MS SQL and basic CRUD/querying
- Git/source control
- xUnit, NUnit or other unit testing frameworks
Experience or exposure to any of the following would be a bonus:
- Entity Framework
- Azure DevOps or Jira
- VB.NET or WCF
- Git Copilot
- Agile development methodologies

Skills Required
- Hands-on experience with C# and .NET (Core / .NET 5+)
- Deep expertise building ASP.NET Core APIs and distributed systems
- Proven experience designing and implementing microservices architectures
- Strong experience with event-driven systems
- Advanced experience with NoSQL databases, including Cosmos DB or MongoDB
- Strong understanding of secure coding practices, including OAuth, JWT, authentication, authorisation, and identity management
- Experience leveraging AI and automation technologies to improve engineering productivity or operational efficiency
- Recent experience with Microsoft Azure (App Services, Azure Functions, Service Bus, Key Vault, API Management)
- Strong experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
- Experience implementing infrastructure and deployment automation within cloud environments
- Previous exposure to multi-cloud environments such as AWS and/or GCP
