Come Join Cisco Software Solutions

Cisco Software Solutions (CSS) is the software development arm of Cisco's Collaboration platform organization (CCPS). We develop and maintain the platforms and related tools required for our products and the people who operate them to shine.

Our World is a mix of old and new - a new unified platform to replace our various legacy platforms, old tools at all points in lifecycle, new tools to differentiate and enhance our platform offering. It is messy in places, sometimes because parts are so new, sometimes because parts are so old.

We are forming a new team that will help drive consistency, reliability and observability across that World.

You should join!

Who You’ll Work With

We are a distributed and diverse team of developers with an operational mindset, united under the charter to make running virtualized and containerized workloads easy and frictionless for our tenants, and to make the platforms that do that easy and frictionless to manage for our operators.

Who You Are

You are an experienced developer who also is familiar with operations. You have worked  on data center and cloud infrastructure , tools and services at scale. You understand that software is for people, and are here to help.

What You’ll Do

As a member of our new tools team, you’ll work with the rest of the organization to mature our World. That includes everything from lifecycle automation through to observability and other operability improvements, through to unifying or even retiring tools, through to building new tenant or operator facing functionality.

Agentic AI tool use will play a significant part in your day to day.
