We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team in Fidelity Institutional Technology (FIT). You will work as part of a new team developing performance measurement and analytics software forPMA After-Tax and Data Insights, which is a highly strategic initiative in our FI Wealth Management Technology area.

We seek a highly motivated and collaborative individual who can apply their experience to contribute to the design and development of this platform alongside a team of talented and enthusiastic engineers.
The Expertise We’re Looking For:
· Bachelor’s or master’s Degree in a technology related field (e.g. Engineering, Computer Science, etc.) required with minimum 5+ years of design and development experience
· Strong experience with these database technologies – Snowflake, Oracle
· Experience in Object-Oriented Software development with Java and/or Python
· Hands on experience with Spark (Java or Scala), use of AWS EMR as the infrastructure for execution both an advantage
· Experience in Cloud technologies (AWS), including Docker and EKS
· Experience building scalable and robust ETL data flows
· Strong design and analysis skills for a large data platform
· Experience with DevOps, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (Maven, Jenkins, GitHub, Terraform, Docker)
· Experience of working within an agile scrum development environment
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
· Excellent collaboration skills to work with multiple teams in the organization
· Financial Services industry experience preferred but not essential
The Team
Fidelity Institutional Technology (FIT) supports our business partners to excel in their respective markets. We strive to achieve this by meticulously crafting, building, and upkeeping the software, technological infrastructure and products within Fidelity’s Institutional (FI) business units. Embedded within FIT, is the Performance Measurement & Analytics (PMA) area, which is dedicated to the creation and support of performance measurement and analytics and performance reporting software for our investment products. As a vital member of this dynamic team, your role within FIT will focus on contributing to the design and development within the team.
