Senior Software Engineer

About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help build and scale an enterprise SaaS platform used by boards, directors and executive teams. This is a product-minded engineering role where you'll have ownership from idea to production. Rather than simply implementing tickets, you'll work closely with Product and Engineering to solve customer problems, shape technical solutions, and deliver software that creates meaningful business value. You'll join a lean, collaborative engineering team where your ideas, technical judgement and ability to execute will directly influence the platform's evolution. If you enjoy building high-quality products, taking ownership and working in an environment where your impact is visible, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own features end-to-end, from problem discovery through to production release and ongoing optimisation.
• Design, build and maintain scalable, secure and maintainable software.
• Collaborate with Product, Customer Success and customers to understand problems and deliver practical solutions.
• Make thoughtful architectural and engineering decisions that balance quality, speed and long-term maintainability.
• Write clean, well-tested code and contribute to a high standard of engineering excellence.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor other engineers through collaboration and knowledge sharing.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and continuously improve applications in production.
• Help evolve engineering practices, tooling and development workflows.

AI-Enabled Engineering:

AI is changing how software is built, and we believe great engineers know how to use it effectively. You'll be expected to use AI coding tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot or Cursor as part of your everyday workflow to accelerate development, testing, refactoring and documentation. Just as importantly, you'll apply strong engineering judgement to validate AI-generated code, understand its trade-offs and ensure every solution meets our quality standards.

About You:

You'll be an experienced software engineer who enjoys solving meaningful problems and building products that customers love:

Experience in any of the following would be highly regarded:

• Secure software development practices
• OWASP principles
• Authentication and authorisation (OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML)
• Azure security services
• Enterprise SaaS and multi-tenant architectures
• Design systems and modern UI/UX practices
• Performance optimisation and observability
• AI-assisted software development workflows
