Senior Software Engineer - Test Automation

This role is to design, build, and maintain solutions while ensuring high-quality delivery within set timelines. This role requires collaboration with various internal teams to produce functional designs and implement scalable, efficient, and robust end-to-end solutions. This role fosters growth through collaboration, experimentation, and continuous improvement while delivering reliable technology outcomes. 

• Design and implement robust, scalable, and maintainable test automation frameworks aligned with the organization’s technology stack and quality standards. 

• Lead integration of automated testing into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring quality validation across all stages of the software development lifecycle. 

• Collaborate closely with software architects and developers to design testable architectures and champion test-driven development (TDD) and quality-first engineering mindset. 

• Conduct risk assessments and impact analyses to prioritize testing efforts, ensuring optimal coverage and efficient use of resources. 

• Provide expert-level technical guidance, troubleshooting complex automation issues and driving continuous improvement in testing tools and processes. 

• Leverage emerging technologies, including AI/ML-powered automation tools for self-healing scripts, AI-assisted test generation, predictive analytics, and visual validation, to enhance efficiency and reliability. 

• Foster collaboration and teamwork, building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to effectively resolve defects and deliver high-quality outcomes. 

That’s the role, so who are you?  

• 7–10 years of experience in software testing, including 3+ years focused on test automation, with a strong grasp of testing principles, methodologies, and best practices. 

• Proven success delivering automated test solutions that enhance testing efficiency, coverage, and overall software quality. 

• Hands-on expertise with leading automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or similar, and experience developing automated tests for web, mobile, and API platforms. 

• Proficiency in integrating automation frameworks into CI/CD pipelines within Agile or DevOps environments, ensuring continuous quality validation. 

• Experience with complex, end-to-end testing across cloud, CRM and ERP systems, and familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, AWS Device Farm, Sauce Labs). 

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a commitment to continuous learning and collaboration across cross-functional teams.
