We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Java) to join our Content Tech SI master team in Bangalore. We are looking for someone who has good experience in Java with sprint, microservice on cloud environment. It will be great if you have experience with AWS and postgress as well. The current team size is 10+ consist of Dev, QA and BA. In content technology you will get opportunities to work with different master team as with all latest technology.
About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent education and experience).
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in software development using Java and the Spring Framework.
- Proven expertise in building microservices with Spring Boot.
- Practical experience with SonarQube for code quality analysis and JUnit for unit testing.
It would be great if you also had:
- PostgreSQL / AWS - Arora DB knowledge
- Spring batch
What will you be doing in this role?
- Develop and deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements.
- Follow coding standards and industry best practices set by Clarivate
- Actively contribute to Scrum processes including planning, estimation, and refinement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps and Product Management.
- Maintain and enhance existing codebases through refactoring and updates.
- Provide production support to ensure system stability and performance.
About the Team
SI master one of singularity master which working in to have single source of trust for WoS content. We work with our internal content operation team. In current tech team we have Backend developers, UI developers, QA and BA. We use Java 1.8, Angular for UI and AWS services
Hours of Work
40 hours per week, permanent full-time position, IST time zone
