We are currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Quality to join Payment Reconciliation Intelligence program within B&MI. This role is ideal for a passionate and driven individual with a strong background in software development and quality engineering. The successful candidate will be intellectually curious, analytically strong, and capable of working independently to deliver high-impact results in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Software Engineer (Quality) with 6-8 years of experience in both manual and automated testing. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Java or Python, Selenium, Cucumber, REST API testing, AI and cloud-based application testing, along with a solid understanding of Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
Key Responsibilities:• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for web applications, APIs (REST/SOAP), and databases.• Validate application codebases for new features and regression testing using automation frameworks.• Perform performance testing and ensure scalability and reliability of cloud-based applications.• Write and optimize complex SQL queries to validate large and complex datasets.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Git/Bitbucket, Jenkins, and Maven.• Participate in Agile/SAFe ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.• Communicate effectively with technical teams and stakeholders to report bugs, suggest improvements, and ensure alignment on quality goals.
Required Skills & Qualifications:• Bachelor's/master's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.• 6-8 years of experience in software testing (manual and automation).• Proficiency in Java or Python, Selenium, Cucumber, and REST API testing.• Strong SQL skills with the ability to write and debug complex queries.• Experience with performance testing tools and cloud-based application testing.• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, and Maven.• Hands-on experience in Agile/SAFe environments.• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications:• Exposure to AI/ML-based application testing.• Experience with test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar.• Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
