Primary Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications and backend services
- Build scalable APIs and microservices with a focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability
- Contribute to AI-first development initiatives by utilizing AI-assisted development tools and exploring GenAI capabilities within applications and workflows
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Support implementation of secure, compliant, and responsible AI practices
- Develop reusable APIs, services, and shared application components for enterprise adoption
- Participate in CI/CD, testing, deployment automation, and operational support activities
- Learn and implement emerging technologies to advance project goals and improve delivery outcomes
- Recommend and implement process improvements to increase engineering efficiency and software quality
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regard to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in software engineering or application development
- Solid experience in full-stack application development using modern frontend and backend technologies
- Experience developing backend services, APIs, and microservices
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, and observability tools
- Familiarity with distributed systems, API design, and cloud-native application development
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot and exposure to GenAI concepts
- Understanding secure coding practices and responsible AI principles
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work effectively within agile development teams
- Ability to mentor and support junior developers
Preferred Qualifications:
- AI/ML certifications
- Experience with programming languages such as Go, Java, Python, and modern frontend frameworks including React
- Experience in healthcare, pharmacy, or financial services domains
Azure proficiency; AWS or GCP experience accepted as alternatives - Proven track record of leveraging AI tools and AI-driven solutions to improve productivity and engineering outcomes
- Familiarity with enterprise application development and modern software delivery practices
