Engagement Overview (Product Engineering):
Software engineering is the application of engineering to the design, development, implementation, testing and maintenance of software in a systematic method. These roles include, but are not limited to analysis, design, coding, engineering, testing, debugging, standards, methods, tools analysis, documentation, research and development, maintenance, new development, operations and delivery. The focus would be to drive the enhanced user experience & provide seamless integration for authentication domain. With every role in the company, each position has a requirement for building quality into every output. This also includes evaluating new tools, new techniques, strategies; Automation of common tasks; build of common utilities to drive organizational efficiency with a passion around technology and solutions and influence of thought and leadership on future capabilities and opportunities to apply technology in new and innovative ways. Impact of work is most often at the team level.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Coordinates, supervises and is accountable for the daily activities of business support, technical or production team wrt to User Experience & interactions to make UHG portal user journeys more seamless
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regard to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). User Responsibilities:
- Leverage enterprise-approved AI tools to enhance productivity and innovation by streamlining workflows and automating repetitive tasks. Evaluate emerging trends to drive continuous improvement and strategic innovation.
Required Qualifications:
- B.E. (Computer Engineering) or equivalent from reputed engineering colleges
- 7+ years of relevant software lifecycle experience, specially in system design and development based on microservice architecture
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in system designing and development
- Having hands on experience to design
- Having hands-on experience on React/NodeJs & other UI frameworks
- Having experience with Kubernetes & automated codeable deployments
- Having knowledge on REST and Spring Boot over any Cloud
- Having MySQL/Cassandra/any other No-SQL exposure
- Having exposure to AWS services, Lambda & containerization
- Having sound fundamentals of Core Java
- Knowledge of build tools such as Maven/Gradle
- Technically hands-on and excellent in Design, Coding and Testing
- Product/Project/Program Related Tech Stack:
- Back End: Java, Spring, Sprint Boot, REST, AWS
- Front End: Java, React/NodeJs
- Middleware: Kafka & its ecosystem, Cassandra/NoSQL
- DevOps: Jenkins, GitHub, Docker, Sonar, Fortify
- Others: JMeter, Groovy
- Demonstrable experience in Site Reliability Engineering and DDoS mitigation techniques
- Knowledge of SANS Top 20 Critical Security Controls and OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS Certifications
- Experience in healthcare industry applications development and support
- Good understanding of SCIM2, U2F/UAF/FIDO2, HOTP, TOTP
- Working knowledge of containers and orchestration (Kubernetes)
- JavaScript and Single Page Applications
- Testing: Gatling, Cypress, Selenium/Playwright
- Development Methodology/Engineering Practices Agile (SCRUM/KANBAN)
