Primary Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications using React.js, Java, and Spring Boot
- Architect and implement secure, resilient, and reusable microservices following industry best practices
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs to enable seamless communication across distributed systems
- Build and deploy cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure, leveraging platform services for scalability, security, and reliability
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and DevOps tools to automate build, test, and deployment processes
- Ensure code quality through code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, static code analysis, and test automation
- Use enterprise-approved AI tools to streamline workflows, automate tasks, and drive continuous improvement
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, and cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment to drive SDLC execution from requirement analysis through production support
- Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and drive performance optimization, security compliance, and operational excellence
- Comply with all applicable Company policies, procedures, and business directives, changes including those relating to work location, team assignments, work schedules, and flexible work arrangements
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or 4+ years of equivalent software engineering experience
- 5+ years of software development experience building scalable applications with Java and Spring Boot
- 3+ years of front-end engineering experience using React.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
- 3+ years of experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures
- 2+ years of experience building and deploying cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure
- 2+ years of experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar DevOps platforms
- Experience utilizing automated testing, static code analysis, and AI-enabled development tools to accelerate software delivery
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with Spring Security and web application security protocols
- Experience mentoring junior and mid-level engineers through technical guidance and peer code reviews
- Experience championing modern engineering practices and evaluating emerging AI software tools to enhance engineering productivity
- Proficiency with state management frameworks (e.g., Redux, Context API) and responsive web design
