- We are seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce Engineer who combines deep Salesforce platform expertise with an architecture-first mindset to design and deliver scalable enterprise solutions.
- This role requires a hands-on engineer who is passionate about building high-quality software while shaping technical direction across the Salesforce ecosystem. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in Apex, Lightning Web Components, integrations, and enterprise application architecture. They should also be passionate about the rapidly evolving AI landscape, including Salesforce AI capabilities such as Agentforce, Einstein AI, Data Cloud, Prompt Builder, Model Builder, and external AI technologies including LLMs, RAG, vector databases, MCP, AI agents, and API-based AI integrations.
- You will partner with business and engineering teams to build intelligent, secure, scalable, and future-ready solutions that accelerate Cargill's digital transformation.
Key Accountabilities• Design scalable enterprise Salesforce solutions using modern architecture principles.• Lead technical design discussions and architecture reviews.• Develop reusable frameworks, shared components, and engineering best practices.• Build AI-powered capabilities using Data Cloud, Agentforce, Einstein AI, Prompt Builder, and Model Builder
. • Integrate Salesforce with enterprise systems and external AI platforms using APIs and event-driven architecture.• Evaluate emerging Salesforce and AI technologies and recommend adoption strategies.• Mentor engineers through code reviews, design reviews, and technical coaching.• Ensure solutions align with enterprise security, scalability, and governance standards.• Drive platform modernization and technical debt reduction.
Minimum Qualifications • 8+ years of Salesforce engineering and software development experience.• Expert proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, SOSL, Flows, and Salesforce APIs.• Strong enterprise architecture and solution design experience.• Experience with REST APIs, Platform Events, Streaming APIs, and enterprise integrations.• Strong understanding of Salesforce security, governor limits, sharing model, and performance optimization.• Experience with Git, CI/CD, automated testing, and Agile delivery.
AI-Specific Requirements• Hands-on experience or strong knowledge of Salesforce Data Cloud, Agentforce, Einstein AI, Prompt Builder, and Model Builder.• Experience integrating OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or AWS Bedrock with Salesforce.• Understanding of RAG, vector databases, AI agents, prompt engineering, MCP, and secure AI application development.
Preferred Qualifications • Platform Developer II Certification.• Salesforce Data Cloud Certification.• Agentforce Specialist Certification.• Experience with MuleSoft, microservices, and event-driven architecture.• Experience building AI-enabled enterprise applications.
