NVIDIA has been transforming computer graphics, PC gaming, and accelerated computing for more than 25 years. It’s a unique legacy of innovation that’s fueled by great technology—and amazing people. Today, we’re tapping into the unlimited potential of AI to define the next era of computing. An era in which our GPU acts as the brains of computers, robots, and self-driving cars that can understand the world. Doing what’s never been done before takes vision, innovation, and the world’s best talent. As an NVIDIAN, you’ll be immersed in a diverse, supportive environment where everyone is inspired to do their best work. Come join the team and see how you can make a lasting impact on the world.
Join NVIDIA’s CAD Infrastructure team and be part of something outstanding! We are building a next-generation software platform for semiconductor development, applying innovative graph neural network infrastructure to process graphs at a trillion-edge scale. This is an ambitious endeavor, and we need engineers who thrive in a hands-on environment, ready to contribute to every phase from architecture to implementation. This role will allow you to compose the future of computing and make a lasting impact on the world!
What you'll be doing:
Architecting highly automated and customizable flows using modular builds and object-oriented techniques.
Collaborating with architects and designers during active spec development to identify integration gaps and keep workstreams aligned.
Building event-driven data preprocessing pipelines for large-scale graph data.
Constructing tools and user interfaces in C++ and Python adapted for advanced engineering workflows.
Engaging cross-functionally with VLSI organizations to anticipate future challenges and build solutions.
What we need to see:
8+ years of relevant software engineering experience.
BS or MS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Hands-on experience in C++ and Python programming.
Strong foundations in software building, algorithms, and data structures.
Proficiency in software architecture: you've built systems, not just contributed to them.
Strong communication skills and comfort working across fields during an evolving development cycle.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Experience building GUIs for engineering tools — complex, data-rich interfaces built by engineers, for engineers.
Background in graph-scale data infrastructure or GNN-based systems.
Exposure to ML or agentic tooling, particularly LLM-based code generation.
Familiarity with EDA or VLSI build environments.
Experience exposing software toolchains to AI agents or building developer-facing AI interfaces.
