Join NVIDIA’s Hyperscale Engineering team to develop networking solutions for large-scale AI infrastructure. You will work with customers and engineering teams to build, integrate, and improve software for BlueField and ConnectX platforms.
Your work will span software development, system integration, troubleshooting, and performance analysis, helping customers move from initial testing to production deployment.
What you’ll be doing:
- Work with customers to understand their networking requirements and develop technical solutions.
- Develop and integrate networking software for BlueField and ConnectX platforms.
- Test and optimize RDMA and RoCE solutions for performance and reliability.
- Investigate issues across applications, networking libraries, drivers, firmware, and switches.
- Analyze packet drops, congestion, latency, and throughput to identify problems and recommend improvements.
- Create test cases and automation to reproduce issues, validate fixes, and measure performance.
- Collaborate with software, firmware, architecture, and product teams throughout development and deployment.
- Document findings and communicate progress, technical decisions, and next steps.
What we need to see:
- A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8+ years of relevant software or systems engineering experience.
- Experience programming in C and developing or debugging software on Linux.
- Knowledge of networking protocols and experience with RDMA, RoCE, or other high-performance networking technologies.
- Experience investigating technical issues and evaluating possible solutions.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work with customers and colleagues across teams.
- An interest in learning new technologies and sharing knowledge.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
- Experience with BlueField, ConnectX, DOCA, DPDK, or RDMA verbs.
- Knowledge of congestion control, QoS, PFC, or ECN.
- Familiarity with AI workloads, NCCL, or CUDA.
- Experience testing or deploying networking solutions at scale.
- Python or shell scripting experience for diagnostics and automation.

What We Do
NVIDIA’s invention of the GPU in 1999 sparked the growth of the PC gaming market, redefined modern computer graphics, and revolutionized parallel computing. More recently, GPU deep learning ignited modern AI — the next era of computing — with the GPU acting as the brain of computers, robots, and self-driving cars that can perceive and understand the world. Today, NVIDIA is increasingly known as “the AI computing company.”
