Senior Software Engineer - AI Code Insights

We operate as a hybrid workplace to ensure our Datadogs can create a work-life harmony that best fits them. <br><strong>What You'll Do:</strong><br><ul> <li>Work closely with our users, designers, and PMs on cutting edge and delightful LLM-based agents</li> <li>Regularly talk with users to understand their needs and get their feedback</li> <li>Rapidly design and prototype open-ended, full stack features. Iterate quickly with early adopters, learn what works, and productionize it</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Work with other Datadog teams to expand capabilities, for example integrating with the Datadog IDE extensions to deliver a CoPilot-like assistant, or Dynamic Instrumentation to collect more runtime data from production and pre-production environments</li> </ul> <br><strong>Who You Are:</strong><br><ul> <li>You're passionate about Generative AI and its ability to help software engineers be more productive. Bonus points if you keep up with the latest LLM developments and research</li> <li>You ship fast, route around blockers, and are comfortable working with ambiguity</li> <li>You love talking with users</li> <li>You're happy to jump into any part of the stack and do whatever's needed to move a project forward</li> <li>You have great product taste</li> <li>You may have been a founder or early builder at a startup</li> <li>You have a BS/MS/PhD in a Computer Science, Engineering or related scientific field or equivalent experience</li> </ul> <br>Datadog values people from all walks of life.
