Position Overview

• The position is an advanced software engineer who brings up required infrastructure, tests, troubleshoots and debugs complex software applications, with increased responsibility for leadership and direction to others. The role recognized as a specialist in quality engineering and often acts as a Tech Lead working on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires both broad and in-depth evaluation of variable factors. The role also exercises top-tier judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for acquiring results. We are looking for people who have ideally got experience in working with customers when needed and who can get on calls and understand problems and fix them. You will be involved with planning and prioritization of infra setup and testing activities for a wide range of initiatives. You will be encouraged to demonstrate the ability to multitask & work in a fast paced environment. Have a strong sense of ownership, urgency and drive.

Role Responsibilities

• You will be working with workspace UI team delivering product value to our ~100M+ user base.

• Design and develop automation framework

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in release management to ship new features & control canary roll out.

• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to improve testing efficiency

• Mentor junior engineers & prepare them to take higher responsibilities

• Provide guidance to improve automation, performance, unit-test code for robustness, edge cases, usability, and general reliability.

• Work on complex customer escalations & defect fixes.

• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization

• Embrace Agile development methodologies ( SAFE ,SCRUM etc.).

Basic Qualifications

• BE, BTech or MTech in Computer Science or related field with minimum of 8+ years of hands on development experience

• Proficiency in Android or iOS or Web.

• Mobile test automation experience on iOS or Android with tools like XCUI, XCTest, Appium, UI Automator, TestNG, Espresso, etc.,

• Web Automation on desktop & mobile browsers using tools like Selenium, Web driver.

• Experience with CI-CD tools (GIT, Jenkins, JIRA etc.)

• Experience with performance and memory monitoring of complex Apps

• Good to have knowledge of networking concept and system administration

• Good to have experience in Cloud technologies, Azure/AWS.

• Experience of accessing data as JSON/ XML using REST APIs, crash dump analysis.
