About this opportunity:
We're looking for a Senior Software Developer to join our team at Ericsson. In this role, you'll play a key part in shaping technical solutions that meet both customer requirements and business goals. You'll be responsible for development and maintenance of the solutions. As a software developer, you'll help develop the required user stories, build prototypes/POCs that help Ericsson deliver on the committed customer requirements. Working closely with the solution architect and the team of developers, you'll translate customer needs into technical offerings and solutions.
What you will do:
• Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications. • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code. • Work with other members of a planning team to develop a prototype plan for an enterprise system that including what key features system users require in the system as well as integration strategies to update existing systems that will transition into the new system build down the road. • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications. • Review Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems. • Help team member to maintain code quality.
You will bring :
• Experience in web application development and support • Good knowledge of J2EE, EJB, Servlets, Design Patterns, Spring, JSON • Hands on exp in Tomcat, Apache, IIS • Basic understanding of telecom domain and other integrated applications like Billing Systems, EAI/ Messaging platforms, Payment gateway • Good understanding of Webservices (SOAP, REST) • Strong SQL knowledge • Knowledge of deployment and maintenance of web-based applications using standard design patterns • Strong knowledge of Linux command-line environment
