BOSTON GO & TECH CENTERJob Description
This is an opportunity to redefine how iconic brands appear in Social. We are seeking a hybrid creator, strategist, and performance thinker who understands that content success is driven as much by platform mechanics as it is by creative quality. This role sits at the intersection of creative storytelling and algorithm mechanics, and is part of a fast-paced, in-house creative studio environment.
You will be responsible for developing and executing content that is engineered for distribution; optimized in real time; rooted in audience behavior; connected to business outcomes.
What You’ll Do
1. Algorithm-Aware Creative & Distribution
- Operate as a true social algorithm hacker, translating platform mechanics (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, retail media video) into creative advantage
- Design and produce content engineered for distribution signals
- Build repeatable content frameworks (hooks, formats, storytelling structures) that increase the probability of algorithmic amplification
- Develop multiple creative variations to test what the algorithm rewards vs. what it suppresses
- Continuously refine creative based on live performance data, not static briefs
2. Content Creation & Production
- Concept, create, and publish platform-native content across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and emerging formats
- Translate product benefits and brand messaging into simple, compelling, scroll-native storytelling
- Own execution from idea → production → publishing → iteration
3. Performance Optimization & Testing
- Monitor performance across all content using platform analytics and third-party tools
- Identify key performance drivers and optimize for reach/impressions; engagement rate; conversion signals.
- Run structured testing across hooks; formats; messaging.
- Partner with media teams to align creative with audience targeting; creative fatigure mitigation.
- Rapidly iterate on winning content through cutdowns; edits; hooks; formats.
4. Trend Mining & Cultural Relevance
- Continuously monitor platform trends; formats; emerging creators; cultural moments.
- Identify opportunities to insert brands into conversations before they peak
- Adapt trends in a way that feels authentic to platform; relevant to brand.
- Balance speed vs. brand safety, ensuring relevance without risk
5. Platform Intelligence & Strategy
- Stay ahead of changes in platform algorithms; content formats; feature release.
- Translate platform shifts into clear creative direction for the team
- Ensure content is optimized for both organic and paid distribution
Job Qualifications
