You will foster engagement and growth of our social media presence externally, meanwhile acts as subject matter expert and counsels to help foster a culture of effective social media engagement both internally and externally.

Location: You will be based in our Toronto office and will work in a Hybrid model.

Reporting Relationship: You will report to the Manager, Digital Advertising

Your Moneris Career - What you'll do

  • Work with the Social Media Manager on the development of overarching Moneris social media strategy

  • Community Management of our social channels including but not limited to: content development, issues management, community engagement, monitoring and reporting

  • Work with internal and external partners to develop engaging and innovative content, including infographics, photography, videos, and other creative devices

  • Assess emerging social media trends to determine relevance to the company

  • Needs assessment, measurement and reporting of key social media metrics

  • Lead, develop, and coach a best-in-class social media/social content team, actively promoting a high-performance culture

Your Moneris Career - What you bring

  • Post-graduate certificate in public relations, communications, journalism, social media, or digital marketing or a related field of study; equivalent work experience may be considered a substitution

  • 5+ years of experience in social media

  • Familiar with content management, publishing and reporting platforms

  • Strong understanding of changing social media trends and practices

  • Fluent in English (reading, writing, and verbal) ; French proficiency is an asset

  • Previous experience in the payment industry is considered an asset
