We are currently looking for a Senior Social Media Manager(all genders) based in Germany.
Your mission with us: Drive Lingoda’s social media presence to build positive brand sentiment and foster and engage our community with unique and engaging content.
Your Tasks:
- Content Strategy: Create and implement the social media strategy, including individual platform strategies that are aligned with our brand strategy and vision, and support key business initiatives
- Audience Insights & Trends: Strong capability to analyse audience behaviors, platform trends, and competitive landscapes to inform content direction and innovation, resulting in positive subscriber growth and engagement with our core target demographics
- Community Building: Ideate and implement unique content and activations to engage the Lingoda community across social media, as well as partner with Marketing colleagues to support the growth and performance of our ambassador program
- Brand Building: Quickly react to content trends relevant to our target audience, ensuring our brand is at the forefront of the online zeitgeist. Drive positive brand sentiment and reputation with unique and engaging content
- Strategic Planning: Create, manage and implement social media calendar and planning, integrating paid and organic strategies, and ensuring alignment with brand messaging across platforms
- Monitor & Report Performance: Measure, analyse and report on channel performance on a monthly, quarterly and campaign-specific basis, and oversee organic ad spend across channels ensuring positive ROI
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with the Marketing and Creative teams to ensure cohesive storytelling and effective campaign execution across all channels; as well as with Performance Marketing to ensure alignment and drive synergies between paid and organic social channels as well as with Influencers
You bring to Lingoda:
- 5+ years of experience in social media, with proven experience managing channels with a combined audience of 500k or more across Meta, TikTok and Youtube. Reddit and LinkedIn are a plus
- Culturally clued up and immersed in Social Media trends. You understand what our target group cares about now and craft ideas that will capture attention
- A proven ability to engage, connect with and build a new audience across multiple channels
- Solutions-focused mentality with a ‘can-do’ attitude. You seek opportunities to deliver maximum impact by taking initiative, uncovering answers independently, and driving results without waiting for direction
- Familiarity with Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, Dash Hudson, Hootsuite, and native social media insight platforms
- Familiarity with tools like Canva for adjusting or creating simple social media posts
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Strong understanding of branded content in digital and social platforms
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders
