We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Automation Quality Engineer with strong expertise in Salesforce Service Cloud testing and automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing robust automation frameworks to ensure high-quality Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud implementations.
Salesforce is critical to the success of our Sales, Customer Support, and Marketing teams, and you’ll play a key role in managing the quality of this system.
As a Salesforce Automation Quality Engineer, you’ll partner with Salesforce Developers, Administrators, and Revenue Operations Analysts to ensure the highest quality of our Go-to-Market systems. Successful candidates have experience administering Salesforce.com and have eagle-eye attention to detail, and experience with ensuring Salesforce.com configuration and customizations are implemented correctly.
We work with strict deadlines, so strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and exceptional time management and task execution skills are key.
This position will report to the Senior Manager GTM Systems and will be based in our Pune, India, Procore office. We’re looking for candidates to join us immediately.
What you’ll do:
Design, develop, and execute automated and manual test cases for Service Cloud applications. Define and own test strategy, test plans, and test approach for Salesforce Service Cloud programs
Validate Salesforce configurations, including flows, validation rules, security settings, OWD, profiles, roles, reports, dashboards, LWC, and Apex.
Test core Service Cloud features, including Accounts, Contacts, Case Management, Omni Channel, Messaging-InApp-Webform (MIAW), LiveAgent, SLA, Entitlements, Knowledge Base, CTI Integration, and Qualtrics Survey
Develop and maintain Salesforce automation frameworks. Execute and maintain automation scripts and integrate them with CI/CD pipelines
Validate real-time integrations between Salesforce and external systems (CTI/Telephony, Jira, ERP) using REST/SOAP API automation with tools like Postman or RestAssured.
Perform API testing for Salesforce integrations. Conduct performance testing on complex Apex triggers and Flow automations to ensure they handle large data volumes without hitting the governor limit
Collaborate with developers, admins, and business stakeholders to ensure quality delivery
Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectivesBuild and maintain scalable, data-driven automation frameworks (using AccelQ, Selenium, or Provar) specifically designed to handle Salesforce’s dynamic UI and Shadow DOM elements.
Experience implementing test scripts with XRay is a strong plus
Perform functional, regression, smoke, and end-to-end testing
Automate regression, smoke, and functional test suites for Service and business processes.
Maintain automation best practices and optimize execution performance.
Defect Management: Identify, document, and track bugs in Jira, working closely with Developers and Product Owners to ensure the timely resolution of blockers.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation.
Hands-on knowledge and understanding of integrating automated regression suites into DevOps pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins) to support a "Continuous Testing" model
What we’re looking for:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
5+ years of experience in Salesforce Quality Engineering / Automation Testing.
Prefer at least 5 years focused on functional and regression testing of Go-to-Market systems (Salesforce.com) and related integrations.
Strong hands-on experience with Service Cloud processes, Objects, Flows, Validation Rules, Apex, and Lightning Experience.
Experience in testing Case Lifecycle and Customer support business processes.
Experience with test automation frameworks (Selenium, AccelQ, Provar, or equivalent). Maintain automation best practices and optimize execution performance.
Proficiency in Java or JavaScript for automation scripting.
Experience testing APIs (REST/SOAP) using tools like Postman.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation.
Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment requiring attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, a high degree of motivation, and deadline-driven productivity.
