Location: Remote – LATAM-based professionals aligned to CST working hours
We are looking for a Senior Salesforce Developer to join a long-standing Salesforce environment within the financial services domain. This role is strictly hands-on and code-focused. The successful candidate will work on a complex, mature Salesforce org with significant technical debt, high data volumes, and multiple integrations with external systems.
This position is not a pure architecture or people-management role. We are seeking a senior individual contributor who is deeply comfortable writing, reviewing, and debugging Apex code on a daily basis and who can clearly explain core Salesforce concepts in real time.
What You Will Be Doing
• Developing and maintaining Apex triggers, classes, and asynchronous processes in a large-scale Salesforce org.
• Designing and implementing asynchronous Apex solutions using Queueable and Batch, including callout-safe patterns.
• Working with complex trigger logic, ensuring proper bulkification, recursion control, and transaction safety.
• Implementing and maintaining integrations with external systems using REST APIs.
• Troubleshooting production issues related to governor limits, performance bottlenecks, data volume, and transaction behavior.
• Collaborating closely with US-based engineers, product owners, and technical stakeholders in English.
• Refactoring and extending legacy Apex code while minimizing regression risk.
Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
• Strong, demonstrable expertise in Apex, including triggers, classes, and asynchronous execution.
• Clear understanding of Salesforce governor limits and proven experience designing around them at scale.
• Practical experience with Queueable and Batch Apex, including when and why to use each.
• Experience handling HTTP callouts and understanding transaction constraints in Salesforce.
• Solid knowledge of SOQL performance considerations in high-volume environments.
• Experience debugging and supporting production Salesforce systems.
• Advanced English proficiency, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and confidently in live discussions.
Nice to Have (Not Required)
• Experience with Apex Enterprise Patterns or layered architectures.
• Experience in financial services or regulated environments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce deployments.
• Exposure to Lightning Web Components beyond basic usage.
What This Role Is Not
• Not a purely architectural or advisory position.
• Not a declarative-first Salesforce Admin role.
• Not a people-management or delivery-lead role.
