Overview
The Sales Tools Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day administration, integrity, and governance of Salesforce and OUTFRONT’s broader sales technology stack. Serving as the first-in-line point of support for sellers and sales teams, this role owns user support, system configuration, and documentation—resolving the majority of day-to-day questions and troubleshooting in real time. By absorbing high-volume support and owning escalations with clear accountability, the Sales Tools Administrator helps the Sales Tools and Productivity team to create a scalable support model to keep the business moving forward.
Key Responsibilities
System Integrity, Configuration & Governance
- Own system integrity, configuration, and governance across Salesforce and all sales technology systems, ensuring configurations and records are always current
- Partner with IT on all compliance reporting needs and cadence
- Manage license counts and user permissions where required
- Build automation in the test environment to validate proofs of concept for further development
- Assist with release management
- Perform proactive system maintenance, including security reviews, release updates, and org health checks
User Support & Enablement
- Serve as first-in-line support for sellers and sales teams, responding in real time with no guessing and no unnecessary escalations
- Take on the majority of all incoming questions and troubleshooting
- Manage all user support channels, including emails, Slack channels, tickets, and Chatter
- Respond to all “How do I…” questions, and generate and maintain process documentation for all roles and user processes
- Monitor and drive user adoption across Salesforce and sales technology systems
Intake, Triage & Continuous Improvement
- Run office hours and manage intake triage and prioritization
- Help manage feedback loops to inform future development
- Gather requirements and feedback from users and stakeholders, and translate them into clear, actionable solutions
- Own escalations with clear accountability, routing to Revenue Operations when needed
- Reduce reactive support noise and improve response times for sellers
Data Governance & Quality
- Assist Data Governance with data quality rules
- Report on the success of duplicate removal and ongoing duplicate management
- Document and report bugs across all sales technology systems
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator or in a sales technology, sales operations, or systems support role
- Salesforce Administrator certification, or equivalent hands-on Salesforce administration experience, preferred
- Trailhead badges and superbadges demonstrating ongoing Salesforce skill development
- Experience providing end-user support across multiple channels (e.g., tickets, chat, email)
- Experience creating and maintaining process documentation and user-facing enablement materials
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in real time
Technical Skills
- Hands-on Salesforce administration experience, including user management, permissions, and license management
- Experience building automation within Salesforce (e.g., Flow, Agents) across test and production environments
- Familiarity with sales technology tools and integrations across the sales tech stack
- Experience with data quality and duplicate management practices
- Proficiency with support and collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, ticketing systems, Chatter)
The salary range for this role is $80,000-$95,000 per year. Compensation is determined during our interview process by assessing a candidate’s experience and skills relative to internal peers and market benchmarks evaluated for the scope and responsibilities of the position.
