This position reports to:
Service Sales Manager__
In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop and execute a sales strategy that drives market penetration, sustainable growth, and customer satisfaction across your assigned business area. Each day, you will monitor sales performance, identify new business opportunities, and build strong relationships with key customers. You will also showcase your expertise by negotiating strategic contracts, optimizing pricing and portfolio performance, managing business risks, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve ambitious commercial objectives.

This role is reporting to the Sales Manager in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Main stakeholders are key customers and cross-functional ABB teams, including Technical Sales, Project Management, Service, and Marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
Developing and executing the sales strategy to drive sustainable growth, profitability, and market penetration
Defining sales targets, monitoring performance, and implementing corrective actions to achieve business objectives
Identifying and developing new business opportunities with existing and prospective customers
Building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers and participating in strategic contract negotiations
Monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and pricing to support profitable business growth
Managing customer risks, including financial and contractual aspects, in collaboration with internal stakeholders
Driving cross-functional collaboration with Technical Sales, Marketing, Project Management, Service, and other ABB teams to ensure customer satisfaction
Promoting compliance with ABB policies, safety standards, and ethical business practices

Qualifications:
You are highly skilled in sales strategy, portfolio management, account management, and business development within the industrial automation market
You have 5+ years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in industrial automation or related technologies
You possess an enhanced knowledge of business strategy, market intelligence, pricing excellence, contract and risk management, and the MS Office package
You are passionate about building strong customer relationships, leading high-performing teams, and driving business growth
Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (BSc or MSc)
Strong knowledge of Kazakhstan industries, markets, and customer landscape
Experience in solution/application sales engineering and channel sales is considered an advantage
You are at ease communicating in English and Russian; (knowledge of Kazakh is an advantage)
