SumUp is a global FinTech player on a mission to support small merchants with building a thriving business all over the world. We are on a constant mission to put together a team that greatly values one another and is committed to our merchants. Our boldness, startup mindset, empathy and love for our products foster a creative environment for our employees.
The Sales Operations team is responsible for managing the data, systems, and processes for the Retail and Partnerships teams. These three core domains are vital to ensure our teams are set up for operating successfully. As our Senior Sales Operations Manager, you will be responsible for owning our Sales Operations process domain, including monitoring, analysing, and optimising the core processes for teams we service (i.e. Retail and Partnerships). Thereafter, you would be responsible for project managing any changes from conception until implementation.
You will have a great impact in defining how the processes will work, assessing the tools used, refining the ways of working of the Retail and Partnerships teams, setting the business priorities, and understanding the possible impacts on other departments regarding modifications/new projects.
What you’ll do:
- Design, automate, and optimise processes across our Retail and Partnerships teams; create and maintain detailed documentation accordingly
- Collaborate with stakeholders to improve these processes, bringing in feedback from process users accordingly
- Work closely with data and systems counterparts to ensure a seamless connection between core operational domains
- Support the development and implementation of process monitoring measures to measure performance and enable data-driven decisions
- Source, develop, and implement any necessary tools to support these processes
- Provide training and ongoing support to end-users
You’ll be great for this role if:
- You have 6+ years of experience in sales operations processes and project management, with strong experience and knowledge of optimising CRMs (ideally Salesforce) and other business systems (e.g. SAP)
- You're an expert in process automation and are eager to explore AI solutions
- You have experience working with technical teams, defining clear specifications and ensuring accurate development and implementation
- You have excellent communication skills, with full written and verbal proficiency in English
- You're self-driven and proactive, being able to work independently and take ownership of projects and tasks
- You're an expert with Google Sheets/Excel
